The joyful tree
Whose long gone limbs I remember
As if they were my own

I am from love and friendship
From a strong mom, brave dad and a hilarious brother
I am from family movies, playing in the park
And love for reading

I am from “love you” and “angel smiles”
And “Let it go”
I am from the bright lights of Diwali
I am from windy Chicago and incredible India
And delicous Dosa and tangy tomato sauce

From the boy who loves crazy rides and water slides
Dreams of talking one day.
